Terms of use

These terms apply to the Vocollab app, offered by [naam verantwoordelijke], the Netherlands ("Vocollab", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. Who can use Vocollab?

You must be 18 or older. You may have one account, and the information you enter must be true. You are responsible for your password and for what happens with your account.

2. What Vocollab does

Vocollab helps artists and producers find each other through audio snippets. When two people like each other, they match and can chat. We do not guarantee matches or collaborations. Vocollab is currently free. If we add paid features later, the app will tell you beforehand.

3. Your audio and other content

• Only upload audio and text you own the rights to, or have permission from the rights holders for (for example for samples).
• You keep ownership of your audio. You only allow Vocollab to store it and play it to other users in the app for as long as it is on your profile. When you delete a snippet or your account, that permission ends.
• Other users may only listen to your audio in the app. They may not record, download or reuse it without your permission.

4. Collaborating

You make your own agreements with others about a collaboration, such as rights, credits, royalties and payments. Vocollab is not a party to them and is not responsible for what you agree. Put important agreements in writing.

5. Not allowed

• Harassment, hateful or discriminatory content, threats or spam.
• Non-consensual sexual content, and anything involving minors.
• Pretending to be someone else, or content that infringes other people's rights.
• Abusing the app, such as fake accounts, automated swiping or getting around limits or security.

Strong language is allowed, but is marked "explicit" and hidden from people who turned that off.

6. Reporting, hiding and banning

You can report or block anyone. After reports from 5 different people within 30 days, a profile is automatically hidden until an administrator has reviewed it. We may remove content and ban accounts (temporarily) when someone breaks these terms. If you think that happened unfairly, email vocollab.support@gmail.com.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. You can restore it for 14 days; after that it is deleted permanently.

8. Liability

We do our best to keep Vocollab working well and safely, but the app is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable. We are not liable for content from other users or for what you agree with them. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited. This never limits your rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. We will tell you in the app beforehand about important changes. If you keep using Vocollab after that, the new terms apply.
